The criteria was that it had to be under $10 - I think and handmade.</p><p>I have been hoarding this fabric bundle from Stampin' Up when they used to have fabric eons ago. It is sew cute! I still have a few packets of this and the christmas fabric that they used to have- good quality for quilting and I made several fabric shopping bags with pockets inside for going to the farmer's market. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcDhuLjD_mqeioo3ath1fmcp9CuwquVCXWE3qeBESI1KTpqdphoEm6uDn01wKCn2hW2k3_6PH6_Ogcjfv6Z9wxdBP2bt01oNYfg5B4hCOJ6spstC0U3Y67zp1o33ReCiM3JcnJTc0Myw8Lnf6dkxYoG96wgKGJwCilk83Z37MFDiRg2uHRZXa4i4tJr0Y/s4000/IMG_8316.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcDhuLjD_mqeioo3ath1fmcp9CuwquVCXWE3qeBESI1KTpqdphoEm6uDn01wKCn2hW2k3_6PH6_Ogcjfv6Z9wxdBP2bt01oNYfg5B4hCOJ6spstC0U3Y67zp1o33ReCiM3JcnJTc0Myw8Lnf6dkxYoG96wgKGJwCilk83Z37MFDiRg2uHRZXa4i4tJr0Y/s320/IMG_8316.jpg" width="320" /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><p style="color: black; text-align: left;">I took a really large mug that had a funny sentiment on it and measured the diameter using a tape and came up with this design. there are a lot of templates but you may have to tweak it a little depending on the size of the mug. i have one on my desk that holds all my everyday tools which I LOVE so hoped this would be useful to one of my friends. the image below is the outside and inside of the piece with all the pockets for all your tools. </p><p style="color: black; text-align: left;">I took the piece that has the zigzag picture on it and the back piece which is 1 1/2 times the base piece (because it folds up to make the inside pockets and put a batting between the 2.</p><p style="color: black; text-align: left;">I took a piece about twice as long as the width - for the button piece because you have to fold it to make the pockets for the outside. I have been with Stampin' up now over 25 years and I still love their stuff and they come out with things that make me laugh and their stamp quality is top notch and no one makes embossing folders like they do and I love some of the embossing diecutting bundles. Now this sweet little project is just an example of why I love these guys. I saw some people making these treat bags into gift card holders and I thought I would try my hand at it. </span><p></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I folded the top of the treatbag to cover the seam. I then cut a piece of same color cardstock 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches and a piece of white cardstock 4 x 3 1/4 for the inside panel and put it in the back pocket. It left the front pocket for the gift card I am putting in there.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I stamped a sentiment on the inside (from Biggest Wish set here) using the same color ink. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Instead of taping or gluing the sides I wrapped the matching In -Color Jute to wrap around the gift bag twice to keep the fold, </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Used a piece of in-color DSP Assortment to accent the bag and the Nested Essentials die for the shape and Celebrate from the Wanted to say set with matching outline in same color to create the gift card card. Fits perfect in an A2 card. I took the Petal Park builder punch to make the flower and leaves- punched it out on white and then in Boho blue/ Granny apple green and used the aqua brush to put in some accent marks on the inside to add a little something. Put them a little askew to have the color peek a little and a simple project - good enough to give away for a gift card and message. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">See how everything matches? the incolor cardstock, inks, markers, DSP and Jute. Gotta love it. These colors when I first saw them were like Eew they look so washed out but they are really growing on me- I guess they know us better than ourselves...<br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6PCTjLkE-sgVA-NWmV11d9aTpOHCBVSWp5lNDkyctWe5WxZOSna_zc8pRqHPcZPTAxHkQgISGusPJKCO6rB1-UtSTCASKV_5NJx9LrK0VABWnbksMxvSm09jHWNEzfpSiPuhR1Upfc7-zyHv3orlq-IWTC_4mjKJrsywbngClDH_mw0xvv6W89h3mjfM/s4000/IMG_8270.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6PCTjLkE-sgVA-NWmV11d9aTpOHCBVSWp5lNDkyctWe5WxZOSna_zc8pRqHPcZPTAxHkQgISGusPJKCO6rB1-UtSTCASKV_5NJx9LrK0VABWnbksMxvSm09jHWNEzfpSiPuhR1Upfc7-zyHv3orlq-IWTC_4mjKJrsywbngClDH_mw0xvv6W89h3mjfM/w480-h640/IMG_8270.jpg" width="480" /></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPsReY0LBqA2ykqSAXEs89xViEwmdlJtpXnXVB2sI7xvG4FhrLCfSrwzsLvljIg0GfjzNhm-T3iytNvU0w1P_7H5PoGrzhcau3GXVZwr3x5dd4npbR_zagFtBtmkUr8YbJfVL9DrvJCsDkQcsszr7rAKM1Y1m7Cj6IugMyxT4qN8pLnA4bfPfq5eei348/s4000/IMG_8271.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPsReY0LBqA2ykqSAXEs89xViEwmdlJtpXnXVB2sI7xvG4FhrLCfSrwzsLvljIg0GfjzNhm-T3iytNvU0w1P_7H5PoGrzhcau3GXVZwr3x5dd4npbR_zagFtBtmkUr8YbJfVL9DrvJCsDkQcsszr7rAKM1Y1m7Cj6IugMyxT4qN8pLnA4bfPfq5eei348/w480-h640/IMG_8271.JPG" width="480" /></a></div></div><br /> <p></p>Lyndahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12678698439598387703noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6045247360039791736.post-89600940622883133912023-09-23T08:03:00.041-07:002023-10-03T08:18:25.819-07:00another vegetable basket thank you<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0sAjny_GPCpOBu0fI8aKKzHF32qVAcVHsfmgrRzR1KVEie8UvJd7DOvHQ2hBnrQTEoZe4w5t0DgS_9WhOeDKEPCSWV3pVJSzl7Zf5tVOnET1ekb68hNP0A6sJpgltkhh_y9lz0bJIGo8fbgQJbN9BPJwPIh5MkPpBVycFUkpBt3Y5pNvBPA3jODZElck/s4000/IMG_8282.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0sAjny_GPCpOBu0fI8aKKzHF32qVAcVHsfmgrRzR1KVEie8UvJd7DOvHQ2hBnrQTEoZe4w5t0DgS_9WhOeDKEPCSWV3pVJSzl7Zf5tVOnET1ekb68hNP0A6sJpgltkhh_y9lz0bJIGo8fbgQJbN9BPJwPIh5MkPpBVycFUkpBt3Y5pNvBPA3jODZElck/w640-h480/IMG_8282.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>My lovely friend gave us another basket of lemon cucumbers, and pepers with tomatoes so I had to send him another thank you.<p></p><p>The background was embossed with Stampin Up Exposed brick EF to add some texture.</p><p>a layer of Real red and then whisper white cardstock. </p><p>Used the crumbcake cardstock to diecut the crate from Lawn Fawn Harvest Crate and used some dies from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Gourds dieset, the Concord &9th Garden Grown die set for the tomatoes and the jalapeno and my new favorite die from Spellbinders Seasonal Decor for the Green pepper on the side - the proportions were just perfect!
