Vine Design

I used this diecut set for so many cards - I was really surprised that they were retiring it. It certainly was one of my favorites this year.

Basecard is white with another piece of white that I used the new in colots and the new blending brushes to create this look shown on left

I used the 2 stitched rectangles to create the frame and mounted with dimensionals.
add the rectangular lace - it just fits so perfectly!
take the silver shimmer paper and punch the ends then white stitched nested labels die.

Diecut a butterfly from butterfly brilliance and mount the center with dimensionals.

enjoy!

Friends are like seashells and Seabed 3D EF

I can't believe they are retiring the seabed EF. It is so beautiful.  Basecard is thick white with a piece of balmy blue embossed with the Seabed EF.

I diecut the Pealesecnt specialty paper using the Seaside Seashells die then embossed it using the seashells embossing folder then colored the shells using a finger dauber using crumbcake, blushing bride, granny apple green.

stamp the sentiment using soft suede on a strip of white and punch the ends using the Banners Pack a punch - which I really love- it permently sits on my workplace.

cut the seashells apart and mount as shown using dimensionals.

I put the left over pieces on the inside of the card.

so Gorgeous! and it was really easy with the dies and the embossing folder- Stampin Up does it again!

Pretty Perennials

This card uses the adorable stampset Pretty Perennials by amazingly creative Dena Rekow.

Love the big happy-  the card is CASE-ing the card in the spring mini- catalog creating your own DSP using the stamps - magenta, old olive, mango melody, calyso coral, balmy blue and basic black.

balmy blue cardstock - withsentiment stamped in white and fussycut - didn't take that long.

bumblebee ribbon to finish.

Lots of hearts and Happy Thoughts card

Lots of hearts was one of my favorite Valentine's sets this year - I loved the border die and the hearts were just so sweet .

This sentiment was also one of my favorites- both on retired list

I was having a bit of technical trouble so have not been able to post for a while but I think I sorted it out for now.
This was one of my class projects a few months ago- diecut the heart in black.
Base is Blushing bride with layer of basic black and white stamped with sentiment in black.
Mount the heart as shown and add some basic pearls jewels and a really clean and simple card.

This also works well with a black Butterfly brillance instead of the heart

Enjoy

Wrapped Bouquet

This was one of the first sets I bought out of the spring mini catalog- the bouquet wrapped in what looks like newspaper is something that always appeals to me

basecard is Soft Sky - retired - but one of my favorites with so saffronl although hard to tell here with the diecut from Stitched so sweetly dieset.

stamp the sentiment from Peaceful Moments - Stamped the image in pear pizazz then colored it in with a bunch of different colors- colored the pink flowers with melon mambo using watercolor technique for a soft color then added extra color to the center with the melon stampin blends. Diecut extra leaves in white and watercolored it with different ink refills- pear pizazz and old olive to create a fuller bouquet.

tied it with some left over grass type ribbon left over from another project to finish the look

Enjoy!

Seashells thank you

the basecard was thick white with a layer of pretty peacock. Took a piece of whitecardstock.  Took the seashells embossing folder and on the flat side inked it direct from the pad using granny apple green, balmy blue and pretty peacock (retired) and embossed it and it creates this gorgeous negative seashells that just POP- - took the stitched nested labels with the thank you from the spring Sale-abration and tied with the crumbcake baker's twine.

Dragonfly Garden and Dandy Garden memories and more cards

I missed everyone so much and not having classes I got lazy and have not been making much cards and things and feeling rather blue.  Being rather tech slow I took me a while but I did finally figure out how to host a zoom meeting and started a zoom class this month to see how it goes and it was not bad- a little clumsy - doing it out of my dining room on a corner table so I can fit the camera - You would all laugh if you saw my setup.  But I don't have a fancy craft room (although I would really love one) or even a dedicated table so I am using an old hospital side table I had kept from my old office when it went bust and it shakes when I stamp and my stamping area is tiny but the camera
my husband got for my kids so they can go remote seems to work fine so I am making do.

It was SO GREAT to see everyone on line and being able to share all of this fun stuff that I have been amassing.

Anyway this was one of the cards we made at our get together- using the  Dandy Garden memories and more cards which is preprinted and pretty good deal.  Took a strip of the Dandy Garden DSP across the bottom.

then a Calypso coral piece then a white stamped in black memento ink with the flower image and the dragonfly on a scrap piece- color with various markers as shown.  bumblebee on the wings and mount using dimensionals. Sentiment from Garden Wishes set with versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder onto bumblebee cardstock and die cut using the die from Ornate frames. Add some basic pearl jewels to finish.

Touch of Ink February 2021 S&C challenge

This is another card I made for the Stamp & Chat February challenge.

White basecard was stamped with the leaves with Grey Granite to add some interest to the background.

I took a layer of Pear Pizazz.  I took a white cardstock and stamped the flower image multiple times as shown and the butterfly in black.  I used water brushes and ink refills on a tray to water color teh flowers and the butterfly in daffodil and pumpkin pie and Calypso coral (also on the flowers) and Pear pizazz on the leaves.
the words are from the retired set Label Me Bold.

The back graound is done with Balmy Blue ink pad using blender brushes. I have some stencils with cloud shapes and I used that to create the feeling of sky and clouds

Forever & Always

Some of our local demonstrators have been getting together monthly for a Stamp & Chat -now a zoom meeting and this was the card I made for our monthly challenge layout.

the base white cardstock was embossed using the Painted Texture embossing folder .

I layered a piece of Melon mambo.
i took a white cardstock, stamped the leaves from the suite sampler set (Hostess set from the Spring 2021 mini) and from Forever & ALways in old olive and water colored it in.

Used water painters with melon Mambo to color in the flowers and Crushed curry for the center and diecut and mounted with dimensionals.

Used the Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue to create a soft sky color,

The words are from Rooted in Nature set.
