stamp snow in pool party and sentiment in real red and simple easy card. layer the white piece on a pice of pool party and you are done.
take a 11x 4 1/4 inch thick white CS base and score along the 11 inch side at 5 1/2, 6 1/4, 7 1/8, 9 5/8 and 10 1/2 as shown on the left.
I diecut the window in the center panel - the die with the small panels on the top only cuts out the holes for the window. I used another scrap piece to diecut the frame piece with the arched top.
I stamped the sentiment using Soft Suede on the top of the arch. using a scrap I stamped the house in Granny Apple green and roof in Soft Suede and diecut it out with a piece of white to creat the snow bank.
Take a piece of Pool Party 2 1/4x 4 inches. Place behind the window opening and stamp the tree with early Expresso and snow with versamark and emboss using white embossing powder and heat to set.
Place behind the window and mount using dimenstionals to create some depth.
I used Design a Daydream DSP 2 pieces each of 4x 5/8" and 4 x 3/4 ' strips as shown below.
Now this is the mechanism so make sure you pay attention to this:
take a piece of 4 1/4x 1/4 inch thick white cardstock strip and tape or glue down on the far right side of the inside panel leaving about 1/8 inch space from the edge. Now tape the last DSP piece using tape only on top of the white strip on the right side so that you leave the left side of the DSP open- this is where you will slip in the front panel to pop it up.
take it out to mail and it mails flat- hopefully whoever receives the card will know enough about you to pop it up.
Enjoy! Lynda
Diecut the snowflake fram and mount with dimensionals.
stamp and die cut the rabbit and the scarf.
Diecut the snowman, arms and hat- i used packing tape to diecut the face at the same time as the body - SOOO CUTE!

Basecard is Calypso Coral CS embossed with Leaf Fall embossing folder
Whisper white CS diecut with Scalloped Contours and stamp sentiment using soft suede.
stamp the basket with Early expresoo onto Soft suede cardstock and color with soe soft suede stampin blends to create some shadow.
stamp flowers twice on a scrap piece of white cardstock. Color in with daffodil, calypso, cajun craze, real red
fussy cut - try to cut closer on the right overlapping piece since it will show.
stamp dietcut and color in the butterfly and diecut some pine leaves

try the roses from the same set and use red for christmas- you can also fill the basket with poinsettias- how pretty it would be...

base card is pool party. the right panel is embossed using winger 3D embossing folder. The left panel is stamped with the holly and berry from the cottage wreath set but stamped off each time to create a soft background. the center panel is pool party and whisper white stamped with pool party wreath, then branches tih early expresso as well as the sentiment. then the berry with real red. then I went over it with the Pearlized enamel effects and set it aside to dry it out for a few hours and I love the bumpy dimensions on the berries.
Isn't this a fun little card- and so easy! I had stamped and punched out a bunch of the scotty dog and was playing with it . Base card is real red. then a whisper white cardstock with the ribbon border stamped all around .
then stamped the sentiment in memento Tuxedo black.
I used the stamparatus to stamp the scotty dog so I could repeat stamp and get a really good solic image.
I somehow lost the little bow stamp ( you know I had it on my table and I am sure it is stuck on the bottom of some tool and I am sure i will find it some day) but for now I am using the 3/8 inch real red ribbon which I think looks great- so maybe it is not a bad thing that I lost the ribbon stamp and had to find another say to deal with this... Mount the dog with dimensionals and another easy peasy card-
this one basecard is thick white cardstock with the layer of stripes then a piece of DSP diecut with Scalloped contours die then the candy canes criss crossed and the banner infront of that.
I have been playing with the stripes die in the Sweet Candy Cane and the candy canes.
mount it using dimensionals onto poppy Parade CS. put a piece of DSP -retired- diecut with scallops contours and put the candy canes using dimensionals on a cross pattern and add the banner
