When you take Night of Navy and you spray bleach it takes away the colors and makes this sky at night intense pattern. But I wasnted a little less intense night sky so I used a finer spray to get a softer splotchy sky. I wanted the fireworks to be more the focus.
The firework is from an old OLD retired set called July Fourth. I stamped it with versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder to make a more intense white against the background. Then I used alcohol makers in cheery cobbler and turquoise
to color in some parts of it to look more like fireworks with all their colors. I also used the Star of Light stamp to create the sparkle streak with silver embossing powder. Added the 2 lounge chairs diecut from the Seasonal Layers thinlits- because we always take our lounge chairs to watch the fireworks, as we will tonight!
My friend Lynne sends me wonderful cards for almost every holiday. I do not know how she finds the time with her busy life. And then I got this beautiful pop up card for the fourth and I was blown away and I had to share it with you all. I want that sparkle fireworks die if such thing exists. What a perfect way to celebrate.
I absolutely loved it. Thanks, Lynne!
