Hello ladybug

When I saw this punch I thought it was way too big but the more I play with it the cuter it seems to me.

Base cardi s real red with a layer of black. stamped a white cardstock with mango medley flowers and cetner with granny apple green and sentiment in memento black.

wrap a piece of real red 3/8 inch double -stitched satin ribbon.

stamp the body in black and wings in red on scrap pieces of white and punch it out and layer with dimensionals and such easy peasy card- these lady bugs are really growing on me!

This is a CASE from Su Mohr - love the 3 daisies -
base is So saffron with a layer of white stamped with fern 3 times from the Daisy Lane set. the flowers next to it from the Hello Ladybug using versamark and used pastels to rub on top for the "popping pastels" . layered the flowers in mango melody, pumpkin pie and So saffron twice each and mounted using dimensional.
stamped the Friends from the Daisy lane in pear Pizazz  and added the lady bug- I know they have the black dots but I like the white dots - they seem to pop more.
so this was one of the projects we made in February Stampin' with Lynda

Oceanfront on the Horizon

Ocenafront is such a cool stampset- love the sky and the angled stamp that can be used for water, beach, whatever.  Basecard is thick white stamped with sentiment from On the horizon with Evening evergreen ink.

take a layer of evening evergreen.

take a piece of white cardstock and stamp the balmy blue for the sky, then use the angled stamp with the pool party ink for the water then flipped it and inked it with pear pizazz for the green bottom.

stamp the birds with memento black. diecut the slid mountain with evening evergreen and accent piece with white cardstock and put together and glue on to make the mountain on the horizon.

stamp some greenery from the oceanfront set on the corners. diecut and add the two fences- keep white or color in.  diecut the greenery from the new horizons DSP and split it and apply one piece to the left and the other piece tot he right to add some interest in front of the fence.

Add some pebbles enamel shapes to the bottom of the fences to add some dimension and such an easy card with such a dramatic look - I'm always hurting for some masculine cards and this would be just perfect for that nature lover- either woman or man.

Tulip Fields Case

This is a card I CASE'd from Mary Fish- loved the color combination so had to try it out. Base is thick white with a layer of  Mango melody.  Before I mounted it I did cut out a circle from the center to use behind the white circle panel. Used the front and back of the Flowering fields DSP as shown with a panel of white in between with sentiment from On the Horizon set with a double loop tied checker ribbon- the windmill, clouds and trees were stamped in memento black and diecut and mounted using glue and dimensionals.  a strip of tulip border was diecut using the flirty flamingo and mounted a shown. love the color combo.

Tulip Fields

La Connor, Washington has Skagit Valley Tulip festival that is a wonder to behold if you love tulips.
I took base thick white cardstock, layered a Pool party piece rubbed with some white craft ink to create some fluffy white clouds. I stamped the back ground vegetation in pear pizazz using the stamp from the Grassy Grove set to make a subtle background.
Diecut the windmill using soft suede and Smoky slate. I used an old retried SU brad that has the old copper look and made sure the windmill was going to fit inside the card.
Take a piece of the Floweing fields DSP and cut 4 inches wide x 2 inches tall strips then fussy cut the tulips on the top and mounted it in front of the windmill.
Thinking of you is from the Sale-a-bration set Special moments stamped in soft suede. corner punched with Banners; pick a punch for the perfect banner corner, mount with dimensionals and a simple but gorgeous card.
