Hand-Penned Petals in Balmy Blue

I was not sure how I felt about this set but more and more I am falling in love with it- I stamped a bunch of these flowers on a scrap and diecut it out so I could play with it and this was one of the simple ones I made- base is white thick cardstock with a layer of balmy blue stamped with the flower images in Balmy blue to create a subtle background.

Added a layer white diecut from scallop contour (one of my absolute favorites this year)  Love the little detail of the stitches inside.

The sentiment is from Peekaboo Farm and the banner diecut is from Floral heart that matches the Always in my heart stampset. The sentiment is clear so you can sort of manipulate it to fit into the banner.

Banner center part and the flowers were attached with dimensionals and some Pearl jewels added in center of flowers. So Sweet!

Whale Done

I made these this past year and forgot to post so i thought i would just put it up- I LOOOVE this DSP  but sadly retired- it made using this set so easy with such beautiful background.

Sentiment from the same set in blackberry bliss and banner punched out from my Pack a punch banner punch - which now permanently sits on my work table as I use it ALL the TIME!

stamped some little fishes to the left and right to add some additional interest  and added some sequins here and there to add some sparkle

I made another identical card with another piece of the DSP and used the seashell sequin to the left of the sentiment and added little bits here and there
What Stampin Up does so well is creating DSP that coordinates with the stampset and then having designs within the DSP that can be diecut or in this care just punched out- so super cool.

enjoy the moment CASE

I saw some samples using the Enjoy the moments set by Artful stampin' https://artfulstampin.blogspot.com/2020/11/sneak-peek-of-new-product-enjoy-moment.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ArtfulStampin+%28artful+stampin%27%29

and I loved the monochromnic look so cased the technique to make my cards.  basecard is thick vanilla embossed with tasteful textile EF - layered a band of black with embossed sentiment as on the left or a seedpod fussycut as shown above.  The sentiment above and the textural elements are from Comfort and Hope - retired.  I heard many people not care for this stampset but these pine leaves and the sycamore balls are all over my yard and I find them so organic and beautiful.

Art Gallery Joseph's Coat technique

I saw a card at https://www.pinterest.com/pin/152840981093990112/ and cased it for this Joseph's coat technique.  Splitcoast has a variation that is also super cute here:  https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/kissingjosephscoat/

Base card is basic black, and a layer of flirty flamingo.
take a white cardstock and smear bunch of colors on it using blenders or finger daubers
put color down where you think you may want the colors.  stamp the flowers from Art Gallery using versamark then emboss using clear ink.
Take the black ink and ink it all over using direct to pad technique. the embossed areas with work as a resist.  You can color the embossed areas using the stampin blends- because it is alcohol, it can be inked on top of the images.
stamp a strip of black cs with versamark using the sentiment from the same set. emboss with white embossing powder and heat set and mouth with dimensionals.

Tyler's birthday card

This was Tyler's birthday card for his 20st birthday

the base card was balmy blue folded into an envelope.  then a white stamped with Avery Elle superhero stampset with the city scape- love the little burger on top of the shoppe! and inked some clouds to make the sky.

elephant slim comic strip creative cuts die in white frame goes on top.

stamp the superheroes on some scrap paper and the  sentiments from Darcie Bam Pow stampset for the sentiment.

cut a piece of white stamp the sentiment and color it in.  I attached the mouse hero using a dimensional so I could fold some money so that it would come out when you pulled out the white piece as shown.  So Fun!
