sceninc Wonders and Rhino Ready

when this stamp set came out  they had a matching dies and a background dies that included the big candelabra trees found in Africa which were really cool but they just disappeared making me think they sold out so when I ordered this set it was no longer available.  so I needed something to make the background more interesting so I used the Scenic Wonders stampset which just fit the bill.  Used the stamp pad for the background and used some real red and spruce green regular markers (not alcohol markers or stampin' blends)  to ink up the stamp before  huffing on it and stamping it.
stamped the grass and fussy cut it out and same with the cute rhino and the bird
the tag on top was stamped and mounted with dimensionals and the bird was stamped and mounted with dimensionals

Paper Florist Dies

Paper Florist die is my new favorite flower die- I loved Dena Rekow's Pretty Perennials set and I could not believe it retired after the first year! it was such an amazing and pretty set. this set is designed to cut several pieces of the same flower at once so you can make the first with just one cut.

center is a piece of white cut with Scalloped Contours die stamped with a sentiment from the Good Feelings stampset- love the big bold message. This was one of the cards from our monthly Stampin' with Lynda and it is so much fun to put together and everyone did theirs a little different that just makes it so much better.

Paper pumpkin August 2023 back fold card

a simple variation on the card- embossed the back panel with exposed brick. took a piece of paper from the envelope and lined it with garden green cardstock to create the left panel .  tied a ribbon around the base. took the left over green section of the envelope and diecut a larger circle to put behind the white circle. hello from layering leaves ad stamped the forget me not in crumbcake and tahitian blue and used water color technique to color it in subtlely so not to obscure the sentiment.
punched some gold butterflies for accent.

one horse open sleight A2 slideout

Seaside Bay and Scenic Wonders

I love the Scenic Wonders background stampset- this was pretty straight forward- I think I stamped it on Pencan pie stamp pad then wiped off the section around the trees and colored it in with lost lagoon regular markers directly onto the stamp then huff and stamp it to make the background- I used the stamping blends with the crumbcake and pool party to make the sand and the water.  I used the pool party to also color in the sky using blender brush to make a soft sky although it is hard to see here.

stamp the birds and the shells, color it and diecut it out. Stamp the sentiment and you are good to go.

Let's go shopping Bookstore cafe

I love all things house and home- when I saw this stampset I knew I wanted to get it - it is a lot of details but this set was pretty easy to use.  The base building was stamped and die cut - I used clear shipping tape to put the opening dies and the building dies together so I can cut it out in one move since I was cutting out so many-

I used some strips of paper to stamp the lamps and the books and I cut the books image up to put behind each window opening on the second floor.

Stamp the sign and the pot of plant and diecut out

I used the matching DSP with the pavement image for the sidewalk for the double decker building.  in my card there is some sky with blue colored in with blending brush before I mounted the store.

the mini catalog for the fall 2023 called shop the town and you know I will be getting that too

I always like to make a simple version of the cards for my class to show you don't need a whole lot to make a lovely card- when the matching DSP was on sale I did buy the pack and used it to make this simple card below- although I did use the sentiment from the stampset - but if you have some sentiment that will work - which I am sure you do- use what you have already.
the paper had whole buildings and some were cut off- I used the second story from a cut off section and put it onto the the first floor and it worked just fine- I just wanted to use the paper to its fullest potential.  I did popup the building and the bush on the left to add some interest.   SO CUTE!

Textured Floral card and variation

One of the cards we made for our July Stampin' with Lynda was using the Textured Floral bundle.
The card above uses my favorite color Bubble Bath as a base and a layer from Scalloped contours die set - don't you just love that sweet scallop?  stamped the sentiment in tuxedo black memento, some flowers and diecut it out and mounted with dimensional,  the leaves from 2 different greens. added a gold ribbon

the base of this card was berry burst dry embossed with the exposed brick embossing folder with the flowers stamped in bubble bath on a scrap piece and diecut out

I always like to show a simple single layer card whenever I demonstrate a stampset to show that you do not need all the dies with bells and whistles to make a beautiful card.   I love this card as much as the ones above and it was something you can make in just a few minutes.

Zany Zoo DSP

I have not bought this stampset yet- but I love the DSP with all the various characters_ I lover the dancing hippo and the backpacking pig and the marshmallow grilling lion but I was not in love the the dancing cat or the llama knitting. So I am still torn whether to buy the stampset and die or not but I LOVE the paper so I cut out one of the bike riding gator and colored it in and fussy cut it out

I like the layered DSP look but I didn'w ant to waste the images on the other side which were just so cute so I just used the black and white DSP from All Together DSP 6x6 to make the black and white strips behind the image. stamped the sentiment from Circle Sayings set to finish it off.  Although I did not cut it very close the white circle diminishes the contrast and still looks good. mount it with dimensional to pop it out.
