Apron of Love in red check

How can you not love t hose tiny utensils?
I knew I had to add this to my ever growing collection of kitchen dies as soon as I saw it.

Base card is whisper white with a layer of Daffodil Delight CS embossed with Simple Stripes EF.  Add a doily- cut in half to stretch out to either side of the Lots of Labels framelet cut white CS.

The apron was cut using a red check paper from  a picnic packet from years ago. then the strings from real red CS and the apron front as well.
Diecut the utensils with silver foil paper- it only took a tiny piece and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes- retiring.

A piece of Daffodil 1/4 inch double stitched ribbon to finish.  If I had a Daffodil button I may have used that instead. I love the clean look of this.

Magical Day Bridge Card

I have been seeing a lot of magical day castle cards so I had to make one of my own.
take and 8x 4 1/4 inch cardstock in Smoky Slate.
Score it at 1 1/2,  3, 5, 6 1/2" along the 8 inch side.

Punch out the crenelles  ( I had an old hand held square punch perfect for this but you may need to hand cut if you don't.

Stamp the sentiment in the center with versamark and emboss with black embossing powder.
I used the Pattern party Decorative masks with the brick pattern with the Silver embossing paste to make the outside brick look.   Not too much detail makes it look better so don't be too neat and avoid the sentiment.

I made the embrasure of the castle by punching out a word window punch in expresso and splitting it into 2- using half on either side.

I made the castle door with the Everyday Jars framelits upside down on the Wood Textured DSP to make the door.  I cut several strips of black CS and put some glue dots on them and sprinkled black embossing powder on them and heated it to make it look like nails ( I was planning on using brads but SU does not carry brads anymore that would fit this so had to improvise ) and it worked like "magic".

I cut a 1"x  strip of Garden Green using Finishing Touches Edgelits die (retired) to created the zigzag grass.  put one on the back under the wizard and the opposite piece on the front of the card to make the "bridge"

Stamp, color and diecut the wizard, knight and the dragon.  Mount them with dimensionals.
punch out a ball from silver glimmer paper to create a magic ball.
