happy Thanksgiving with Cottage Wreath

This was so much fun to do.

I took the Calypso coral basecardstock and embossed it with Leaf Fall embossing folder - which is absolutely gorgeous

I took a piece of white cardstock and watercolor brushed a bunch of colors in green and pumpkin and calypso coral and let dry.

stamp a bunch of the acorns and cut it out. i fussy cut it becuase I did not want so much white around the diecut.

stamp the wood branch in early expresso onto the white cardstock. then I diecut a bunch of leaves from the colored cardstock I made to show the varigated colors.

diecut the ribbon and color in with calypso coral watercolor brush.

add acorns using dimensionals in some spots.

I love a little shine and I used to use these gold foil border stickers but recently have been unable to find them in my local scrapbook store so i am resorting to these gold nail striping tape which offer a real great shine- although they are thin and a little tricky to apply - they look great when you get the hang of it.

Birthday Piggies- three little pigs samples

one of my twins love pigs and this set was so adorable I had to get and make a card for his birthday- This one we made for our September stamping with Lynda

take a base card of thick white, take a piece of Pacific blue and emboss with let's celebrate embossing folder- I placed it on the bottom of the panel so that Happy Birthday would show up above the friend diecut (from another company) The circle panel was cut from Silver and Gold DSP from Sale-a-bration

Stampin Up came up with the matching diecut for this adorable set available for limited time only- I colored it in with variety of colors, Petal Pink for the pig and parakeet party poppy parade and tahitian blue for the bike and smoky slate.

mount with dimensionals.

Lost the little dot above the i and margery suggested used the rhinestone which was perfect.

this was a variation on the above for my demonstrator group get together-it's a  pop up diamond easel I did here:  https://stampingdoc.blogspot.com/2022/08/sending-easy-diamond-easel-card.html

stamp the pig on the diamond and another flag on a scrap - you will need to fussy cut and glue on top so you get the whole flag on the diamond shape. place the DSP from Rings of Love (sale-a-bration) on Mint macaron cardstock base.

this is another piggy sample - the pig die has this cute little pullcart among other cute things.

I put a Pattern party DSP - retired and then a layer of Daffodil delight and a piece of white diecut from the scalloped contours dieset- hands on my favorite go to die for the sweet little stiching and the perfect scallop- stamp the sentiment. stamp the pig and 3 balloons on a scrap and diecut it out. put it on the basecard behind the card so it looks like it is sitting in it.

cart diecut from crumbcake- it has separate dies for the wheel and the handle too although i did not use it .

Apple Harvest variation

I love this stampset - Got it the first time it was offered and then they came out with maching diecuts to boot- what's not to love?  Sort of a case from the catalog- the colors and the green strip sentiment part. Not really same but similar feel so it is a case.

base card is Poppy Parade and then I added a piece of Celebrate everything DSP- it's the hostess item from the holiday mini- $18 for 48 sheets of 12x12  double sided paper with such vibrant colors- I just love it- it has designs for halloween, christmas birthdays etc.

then I just took a 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 piece of whisper white and stamped th image with tuxedo black memenoto and colored it in with Poppy Parade and parakeet party stampin blends.

Stamp and Diecut some apple blossoms flowers and mount it with dimensionals and a simple pretty card-these colors are definitely my jam!

Apple Harvest magnet closure gate fold card.

this is an asymmetric gatefold card with a magnet closure mechanism

score the 8 1/2x 5 1/2 inch card at 2 3/4 from the left and 1 1/2 inch from the right to create an A2 size card.  add a flat magnet to the right side panel before adhering the dsp (1 1/4 x  5 1/4)

take a petal pink cardstock 3 1/4 wide x 3 1/2 inches tall. adhere to the left side of the front panel only.

put the magnet and it will pop into place on top of the magnet below.

stamp the Apple harvest image on a white panel 3x 3 1/4 and color it in with pentl pink and granny apple green. place over the petal pink panel and the magnet.

thinking of you sentiment is from Ringed with nature set  stamped on left bottom corner.

this set is also one of those that came with a coordinated dies that included the branch and apple blossoms so I sued them to ciedcut some flowers to add to the card.

Hello Harvest Standing pop up

This card is called Standing pop-up although i have heard other people call it front panel pop up- whatever you call it it is super easy and makes for a really dramatic card.

• the base card here is soft suede 4 1/4 by 11. Score along the 11 inch side at 5 1/2, 6 3/4, 8 3/4, and at 10 inches.  you will fold it in and tape or glue onto the last bit after the 10 inch score and tape it down as shown on the left to create the right side bottom rectangle .

• You will need another panel 2 3/4 by 5 5/8 for the front panel in soft suede scored at 3/8 and 1 5/8 on the 5 5/8 inch side . put tape on the 3/8 inch section

see above left side bottom of the center panel. make sure that the front panel when folded does not go higher than the panel behind it.- once placed then tape the front panel bottom to the front of the back piece and the whole mechanism is set.

Make sure to put the DSP on the back piece BEFORE you tape down the front panel though.

• the back panel DP is 4Inches wide and 3 3/4 inch tall.

• front panel is 3 3/4 tall and 2 1/2 inch wide.

I stamped the pumpkin from Hello harvest set with memento black and colored it in with pumpkin pie and cajun craze and pale papaya.

stamp the flowers in soft suede, colored it in with variety of colors. stamp the sentiment in Curry and diecut and mount with dimensionals -

Perched in tree

A lot of birds freak me out but this bird was pretty nice - very sweet actually. Love the tree background oval as well.

Take a base card of thick white cardstock and use stampin blending brush to add blue sky and then colors of earth on the front - i think I used balmy blue, Cajun craze and soft suede.

I then cut another piece of white cardstock with teh tree die and sponged parts of that with cajun craze as well.  then take a piece of white scrap and stamp the branch, the bird.  I took a piece of white cardstock and laid down a bunch of colors using the watercolor marker, cajun craze, sofe suede,

pumpkin pie and even some soft succulent in mad scribbles and when I used the die that looks like a bunch of leaves it looked like just that. it was too long for the car so I cut the end off and it was big enough to add it back to the card on the left as you can see- no point in wasting it!

Take a basic gray cardstock, take the sentiment and heat emboss with white embossing powder and mount with dimensionals.

Fresh Cut Flowers CAS

I always like to have my customers have an easy card they can stamp and color .

This was one - Fresh cut flowers now come with matching dies that includes this gorgeous border die that adds so much to elevate the card.

Base card is Polished Pink on the left and Fresh Freesia below but any color will work. Stamp the image using the Stamparatus with the sentiment from Nature's Prints below in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I used sponge daubers to add a tad of color to the center of the flour - seriously, it took all of 5 seconds to do that and added the color to the leaves with Parakeet party stampin' blends- add some daffodil delight to the little bits if you want.

but such an easy card with such a beautiful visual impact - You can even diecut the flowers and mount it using dimensionals if you want to up the ante.
