Friends 24-7 -creating your own designer paper

I see some designer papers out there that are just repetition of one image- with the damask image from the Friends 24-7 set, you can create your own!
Here I used plain white CS using Kiwi pad. Start by stampimg the image on one end. Now this stamp is not square so to make it fit close together, I flipped th stamp with each row to make the images line up tighter. I then sponged the edged with the same ink to give it that distressed look. It's really pretty with the pirouette pink as well.
Stamp the sentiment in Basic brown. Punch a 1/8 inch hole above the sentiment and tie the ridinghood red taffeta ribbon throught the holeas shown. I like it that it is a little different than the usual tying the ribbon, keeps the ribbon from moving up and down and uses less ribbon, to boot.
Bird stamped in Basic Brown also on 2 3/4 " square white CS, corner rounded on 2 sides only and pierced and sponged again with kiwi. Mounted on 3x3 kiwi CS again corner rounded on 2 sides only then mounted with dimensionals.
As the sentiment says the Happiest business in the world is that of making FRIENDS- I think they got it wrong- It should be STAMPING WITH FRIENDS!
Wishing Happiest business to you all!
Lynda
