Tropical Party sunset
The SCS way to use it challenge 276 (WT276) was to dig out your old heat gun and use heat embossing on your card. Somehow this idea about the palm lined sunset stuck in my mind. It was a rather easy card to do as well.
Take a glossy cardstock and rub embossing buddy all over ( to prevent any stray powder sticks) stamp the palm trees using versamark ink. Sprinkle copper detail embossing powder (retired SU) to create a warmer embossed image. I punched out a 1 3/4 inch circle out of post it. I used the negative to rub summer sun ink into the sun (retired! ) and the used the circle over the sun to rub, summer sun, pumpkin pie and baja breeze over the sky and behind the trees. I then tore a piece of paper and used the torn edge to sponge some sahara sand over the blue area to create a faux beach look.
The sentiment is from Upsy Daisy stamped in chocolate chip.
