An Angry Bird Birthday

I was a tad busy this weekend- 3 birthday parties back to back for the twins to attend then Tyler was having his birthday party with his friends. He kept the cake identity well hidden until the day of the party and everyone was really excited to see the angry bird cake- it was lemon cake with lemon pudding/curd fillling inside.

So for thank you card it was appropriate to use the same theme. I went on line to see what this bird looked like and saw some samples of cards made
with it and saw many variations of this one. Not sure who originated it but thank you to all.  The one I chose to emulate was one by Maria Cameron on Stampin Connections- the online demo only site-  The bird is made of 1 1/2 inch circle.  The eys are 5/8 inch circle with 1/8 inch pupil.  The eyebrows are retired SU horizontal slot and the tail is made of Spring flower bouquet punch.  The headfeathers are made of 1/2 of the small heart and the tip of the retired leaf punch from eons ago.
the beak is made of little summer sun (also retired) triangles.  I raised the whole thing on dimensionals.
The sling is made of 3 word window punched out of chocolate chip and stamped with woodgrain with expresso. Used left over 1/4 inch strips of crumbcake to make the sling. I also used left over green CS embossed it with sentiment (not SU).  Used some cloud cutouts and used them as stencils to make the clouds and I am now totally exhausted- from making a gazillion of these cards.
This is the cake Tyler chose for his birthday!
