Artistically Inked in Polished Pink

It's funny that when I saw this set I was not sure how I felt about it - the flowers seemed wonky and what is the deal with the weird funky shape on the right side top? Right?  well - this weird stamp has now become one of my all time favorites with its cool alcohol ink image without any effort at all- super cool!

Any way base card is Evening Evergreen with a layer of white stamped with yes- the weird image- i did it 3 times, once to the right of the green DSP strip, one above it - it does not matter that it overlaps- it just creates extra cool layer image-

then across thecenter above the middle to create the background basic using Mint macaron inkpad.  I ciecut the large leaf die and cut it up and put it all over as shown.  I stamped the large flower in polished pink then rolled the edges to take some of the ink off to create a more two tone- and the lower flower and the little flowers in solid polished pink, The small flowers come 3 in one stamp and diecuts all 3 at the same time- so much easier!)  the right upper flower was stamped with Calypso Coral for a slight different color.
hello was stamped in Evening evergreen - the die is from Hippo and Friends dieset- the right side cut off  mounted with dimensionals- and the ribbon is the same color 3/8" Open Weave ribbon which comes in all the In-colors- attached with a glue dot.

Added some gold accents diecut from Forever Flourishing dieset.

This was one of the cards we made for our monthly Stampin' with Lynda zoom class- the third Saturday of each month 9-10:30AM. Email me at Stampingmd@comcast.net if you would like to join me or view future videos.

Pansy Petals DSP

Such as pretty paper- I almost don't want to cut it up but I did- this was one of the cards we made for our zoom class using the DSP with dies to match.  Stampin' Up is just coming up with beautiful DSP that can be cut with the diecuts that come with the stampset- such clever idea- Even if you just had the paper you could make some gorgeous cards.

The base is Fresh Fressia with layer of Scallops contours diecut white.  another later of Fressia using the same dieset next size down.  the Freesia DSP with the next size down from the same Scallops contours die set stamped with sentiment in Blackberry bliss in the left side top corner as shown.  Take a strip of 3/8 :super easy but l" open weave ribbon in Freesia (comes in all this year's In-colors). Diecut the flowers and leaves (there is two pages of flowers and 2 pages of leaves- enough for everyone in my class and then some). Mount with dimensionals to finish out the card.  Soooo Pretty!

Penned Flowers dies Happy Birthday

The penned flowers dieset has this open flower die and flower and leaves dies that is so beautiful.

I cut a bunch of them and adhered it around onto a thick white cardstock. I put a scallops contours diecut frame in the center with dimensionals that I stamped with Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sweet ice Cream set in Magenta.

the leaves are diecut with Soft Seafoam and the flowers were diecut in white and I sponged a little Fresh Freesia in the center using a sponge dauber to add just a hint of color.  mounted the leaves and flowers in the corners.  Added some smallest pearls to accent and it is done.

Enjoy!

Artistically Inked thanks

This was a simple card using the Artistically Inked stampset and dies. Base is polished pink with a layer of Soft Seafoam. then a layer of white stamped with the funky shaped stamp on the right side top to create that alcohol inked image that I am just crazy about- stamped twice in Pear pizazz.

stamped the thanks in black as shown.  I love this font- so elegant.

the flowers were stamped in polished pink and leaves in pear pizazz on scraps of white cardstock and diecut.

wrapped the gold Simply Elegant trim as shown and then mounted the flowers and leaves with dimensionals around and under the trim.

pretty simple thank you

Hand-penned petals in double with banner

I stamped and diecut a bunch of these flowers and was playing with it and decided to use two with a banner inbetween and what a sweet card it made.  Basecard is thick white ( I abhor flimsy base so I am exclusively using thick cardstock for the base with a layer of fresh freesia. then a layer of scallops contour diecut in white.  Two flowers cut and colored with mango, freesia, balmy blue and granny apple green - popped with dimensional.  The sentiment is from Art Gallery pulled a little to fit in the banner from the Floral Heart diecut  and pearls to add some sparkle. Easy peasy but SO Pretty!

Artistically Inked in Coastal Cabana

I was playing around with different colors and juxtaposition of the flowers as a background and this is one of the cards I made that I really like.

Base card is thick white cardstock.

Another piece of white cardstock stamped with the flowers in Coastal Cabana- I used the sponge dauber to add a little night of navy in the center of some cards and some on right side bottom was totally daubered in Navy after to create some variation.  Leaves were stamped with the same colors. I did stamp the weird alcohol ink background on the right side top area that you can make out in coastal cabana as well.

I took a white strip of card stock and punched the left side with Banner -pick a punch then stamped the sentiment in versamark then heat embossed it using Basic White embossing powder. I then used a dauber to add coastal cabana color all over to create a soft but solid color tag-

Added some white/clear sequins from variety of retired sets colored using the Bermuda bay Stampin Blends. I really l love this.

Artistically Inked Die

I always like to thank my customers who purchase from me and I make a thank you card regularly.

But it is sometimes hard to make a really complicated card for a lot of people so for this purpose I try to keep the card pretty clean and simple.  This was one of those cards I made using the Artistic Die in white.  Base Card is of course thick cardstock with a layer of designer paper  I had that had some watercolor effect but any interesting DSP will do- it would work best with a paper with color without a lot of design in it - I don't want to distract from the clean design of the diecut.  stamped Hello in Bermuda Bay onto a strip of cardstock - punched with my favorite punch Banners pick a punch that punches out the perfect banner corner mounted with dimensionals.  I like sequins and wanted them in colors to match and I unfortunately did not have the Artistry Blooms Adhesive backed sequins yet (it comes in 4 different colors including coastal cabana which would have been perfect) so I did the next best thing- I used sequins from peaceful moments and snowflakes sequins that I had (retired) and used the Bermuda bay stampin blends to color it in and it worked beautifully!

One of the things I do is buy ribbons and embellishments more in white so I can color it in since Stampin' Blends will color just about anything even with slick surfaces like the sequins to match any Stampin' Up color it comes in!

Suit & Tie Dies 3 way

The base card is thick white with a layer of Night of navy cardstock scored 1/2 inch apart - the tie is diecut from the Well suited DSP - the sentiment from happiest of Birthdays set diecut with the smallest die in the Stitched rectangles dieset. use a scrap of white for the collar mounted with dimensionals and a piece of midnight ribbon.  Using the base card as the shirt it was pretty simple to make this card.

I wanted to make a Griffindor uniform.  Again, base card is white. Use the black and merlot cardstock to layer on the inside.  I could not find a striped paper so I cut 2 ties - one in curry and one in merlot and used one as base and used the other cut up in strips to make the stripes.

This is more for the feminine look.

basecard is thick white and used the Freesia cardstock embossed with greenery embossing folder to create the sweater.  cut the shirt, buttons and collars in white and then added some basic pearl jewels to make the necklace.

I used to make shirts for masculine cards in past using some templates I made but this is SOOO much easier and superduper cute!

Hand-penned Petals in corners

Another variation I 've been playing-  base card is thick white embossed with Meadow Moments embossing folder.

Had a piece of Fresh freesia diecut with scallops contours die which was stamped with gorgeous grape using sentiment from Biggest wish stampset then I powdered it and stamped happy using white basics embossing powder and heat gun.

Flowers were colored with Fresh Freesia stampin blends and Granny Apple smith and old olive with magenta watercolor brushed on top to accent.  Added a few Pearls to highlight center of flowers.

Hand-penned Petals in gold

I wanted to try to make just a simple but elegant card using black and gold so this is my sample.

base card is thick white with a layer of gold.

another white cardstock, embossed with gold embossing ink and heat set. Took a strip of black- i have so many cardstock I cut down to make 1/8 inch border around the basecard and when you are cutting from an 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock - you will be left over with gazillion 1/2" strips which I keep in a tall cup and use for strip sentiments all the time. this was one of those strips in black.

I used the center of the gold cardstock to diecut out the friend from Well Written Dieset (retired)
